  1. Grazie mille for advocating slow fashion and learning to love having enough. Your videos are such a refreshing antidote to "unboxing" content. Keep up the good work!

  2. How DOES one flatten giant shirts out and tuck them into pants? I see people tuck in oversized shirts all the time and it looks very polished and neat. When I try it, it looks like I'm wearing sails ⛵, especially in the back. There's just too much fabric everywhere. Dunno if my hourglass body is working against me here.

  3. Thanks to watching some of your videos, I went out of my comfort zone and when thrifting the other day I picked up an off-white designer silky collared button up – in one fell swoop I completely elevated my wardrobe. Couldn't believe it. Not my color or style, yet I discovered I can wear it over tanks and it adds a pulled together and almost expensive look to what before was sort of well…sloppy, or today I popped it under a black oversized scoop neck tee. I never could figure out how to wear that tee, it looked blocky and blah, but the collar shirt under (it's very light and sheer so still fairly comfortable in summer) completely turned into something I could wear out to coffee with capri jeans and feel pulled together without being over the top. I also really appreciate when you note not everyone wants to show off their waist or "curves." No matter my size, all my life, I gravitated towards the layered everything hanging down straight look – you've offered several tips I can incorporate to help take that silhouette out of frumpy (what's cute at 20 is bag lady at 50 sadly!) to intentional and artsy. Thanks for your videos 🙂

  4. Love the new format. It really helps us hone into how you re create an outfit. Outfit inspiration is just that m inspiration. I really like how you encourage not copying the outfits but capturing the spirit of each combination. Lots of fun 🤩

  5. I seriously loved all three but I especially learned from how you did look two with two sweater and top options. This was very instructive! Going back to take a couple of screen shots to remember the looks!

  6. Terrific, as always. Regarding the too-big crew neck, I run into this problem constantly, especially with sweaters. Nothing seems to look right under those necklines, they are better, but not great, for me on their own. I think having a small head and face makes this look just too big on me. I have several beautiful sweaters from Sundance, but don’t wear them, all their sweaters are cut like that, so I’m taking them in a lot, for wear in the Autumn. I’m adding this detail to my Don’t Buy list.

  7. Love this video!! Great ideas and inspiration to shop my closet…👏🏼👍🏼
Little late with my comment because on vacation with family and playing catch up with videos today. Thanks for you wonderful content!

  8. Love you and love this format. Breaking down the styles really shed a new light on things. Off to shop my closet. ❤️. BTW! You are so beautiful in every outfit you put on.

  9. I really like when you provide this type of theme in your content. I Enjoyed this video. Your look were my favorite on the first one and the second you pretty much hit the nail on the head with the second look but your length/line of fitted skirt and the bulky handbag threw the last look off for me. I have taken in everything you taught in previous videos and the flow of the skirt outweighed the color for me. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

  10. Alyssa, have you changed camera? Your video is coming up super sharp on my device today.
    Great work, as always 👏👍👌

  11. I really enjoy the exercise of breaking down looks and as an avid watcher I try to guess what you'll pick from your closet. Thank you for sharing your ideas, I just need to be better in tune with my own wardrobe! For the first look I liked the knitwear untucked, it accentuated the waist without a sharp break at the mid-line. 😊

  12. More of an inquiry: from Mindy's outfit, would you try a baseball cap as a cap, rather than following the baseball-cap-shaped bag? btw, I like the basket bag from the last outfit 😀
