  1. Amazing pick of patterns. Thankyou. I'd have been stumped as I have no idea who Frida Khalo is! They were able to practice beforehand so, if they were like me, they could have found out all about her.

  2. I LOVE that palazzo pants pattern but gutted they only go to a size 18 and I need a 20! Has anyone seen any very similar – with elasticated waist but bigger? x

  3. Brilliant choices.I know your not allowed to show images of the exact makes on the sewing bee but would you be allowed to draw the makes? As well as describing them you'd also have a visual reminder

  4. Hello, idea for the mariniere : pont neuf by cosy little world french designer … Thanks for your videos lots of ideas each time . Have a nice sunday

  5. It felt like Andrew's final outfit was a straight up remake of one of Freida Kahlo's indigenous outfits–the boxy top over a loose skirt. I think that could be updated in an interesting way but it's tricky because that is someone's traditional clothing. Moving a new direction like Raph did seems like a more successful approach.

  6. Adeena's dress, and the single shoulder top remind me of pattern drafting tutorials I've seen on youtube, no patterns, but a couple of people have been drafting them live, as it were.

  7. Rebecca's top in the final challenge could be Butterick B6652 – design C
    Farie's looks like Vogue V1723
I loved Raph's Modern Hupil top. I'd definitely make and wear that 🙂

  8. Hi Kate, Your pattern recommendations from the show are always spot on and well researched. Almost replacing the fact that I cannot view from Australia. I cannot however take my eyes off the gorgeous fabric of your shirt. Would you mind telling me where you bought it? I have searched high and low without success. Many thanks!!

  9. Sigh…you say go watch it and come back. I wish I could! BBC, please provide a streaming service to us here in the US. I would gladly pay! Thank goodness for your pattern picks.

  10. I’m not sure that anyone can thank you enough for all the effort you put in to trying to find these great patterns for us. So,,,, Thank You! 👍😎

  11. You’re amazing Kate to find these similar patterns within 24hrs of the sewing bee being shown, you’re hard work is amazing, I love these videos ✂️🧵🤩

  12. I rarely feel inspired by the covers of the big commercial patterns (they always look a bit naff to me) – indie pattern designs usually look much cooler and more wearable. I might be swayed to use a certain fabric or colour palette but I never recreate the cover garments exactly.
