The difference between old playline & modern 🧸

I like both. They are quite different. My favorite is probably the vintage one though.

I like the vintage barbie, better quality

I prefer the older dress because the other dress is printed. I do like the new Cinderella dress though I just prefer the more realistic touches of the older one.

I love them both,.but the vintage one is more my favorite because of the little details they added that makes it more like it's several layers. Instead of printed. The big thing I love about the new outfit though is that it's not just decorated in detail in the front only. I got a Belle doll in her ball gown and the ruffles didn't continue all the way around.

It’s the vintage Cinderella all the way for me! The newer one is cute for something play line for kids, but Cinderella would never be cleaning in a satin skirt haha. The quality in the vintage dolls is so detailed and her little broom is cute.

I love all kinds of dolls but my favorite is Blythe. Oh wow you have a vintage Cinderella that’s awesome!!

Oh, Sue!! What a good idea to compare those two "poor" dresses! I think that it is kind of like comparing apples and oranges to me. Ha. I love oranges, but apples, in the end, just can't be beat!!! Just like the old dresses: they just can't be beat!!! Older dresses have the more "hands on" look and are always unique. I think that anything that is Barbie clothing, new, now-a-days. is going to have some sore of plastic fiber in it's fabric. Back in the early to mid 60's, it was mainly cottons and polyester blends. Most were cotton alone. (Early 60's) On the old "poor" dress, the colors were more contrasting, as well. I think, that being one of the "costume" like dresses from the series of theatrical type outfits that Mattel did back then. (To be seen "one stage".)
Again, I DO love oranges, but, apples are my favorite. Haha!! Wink, wink. ; ))

Hmmmmm, I wonder if that new series of Disney Store Princesses, has a Sleeping Beauty doll. Because, the Cindi doll looked a lot like a SB. (Sleeping Beauty was always my favorite Disney Princess).

I like the new and the old version! I think they are both beautiful and unique in their own way despite the differences in the quality of the both products.

I really like your new doll and her articulation! The old Poor Cinderella dress looks better, but that bubble cut Barbie looks more like the Evil Stepmother compared to your new blonde girl!

I do love both, but i don't like the fact disney decided to give the dolls all flat feet and the printed details seem to be a second thought on all their dolls.nit just Cinderella and with Mattel getting the Disney princess line back maybe we will get those older details back

Hi Sue, well as you know I love Cinderella, and there both amazing dolls. I do love the older dress it’s more authentic from the newer one. I have the Snow White dress as they all most look the same. But I do love articulation in my dolls so for me it’s a tie 👍🥰

🎀…first off- i love your duster!!!🤣i want one. The newer doll is cute but hands down the older is my favorite. The quality of vintage clothes had more detail and now are "cheaply made". Older dolls are my favorite since again im a child of the 1970s and back when it was "wrong" for a boy to have barbies…. PAYBACK NOW I HAVE OVER 1000🤣🤣🤣… Keep it up sue…..yoouur funny🤡🤣😁💜

Quality certainly has deteriorated in newer dolls but then companies are always chasing more and more profits. The newer collectors don't see this as clearly as we "older" collectors but with this type of comparison make that fact very evident! Thanks for another great video.

Well I'm partial to the vintage stuff so I prefer the 1965 dress. The other one is pretty, but the vintage one is iconic! And I love the broom. I have some of the backdrops/props of the Barbie and Ken Little Theatre, but none of the costumes. Thanks for sharing the video, it was a wonderful way for me to start my weekend!! 🙂

The new modern dress is defiantly cutesy! But the vintage one looks so lovely! I love the color combinations they went with. More neutrals with that pop of orange! Giving me a little bit of Halloween vibes and I love it! And vintage clothes defiantly are so much better quality!
