  1. I did not know The Tie Bar website had a program where you could move and mix and match stuff around like that. I just ordered my first knit tie ever from Ebay….a pale blue gray one. I've got to get over to the Tie Bar to see what they have. No one here in town at any of the malls, the Gap, or Banana Republic or any of the smaller local stores have any wool trousers….so I want to see what the Tie Bar has… Very interesting video!!!!

  2. HeSpokeStyle has, in my opinion, the best formated, and informative lookbook videos as of yet. Sort of like your reviews! My input is to shamelessly copy him!

  3. seems stuffy and all over the place, i feel you have dressed for a smarter date and in that case, just a tailored navy suit no tie with a crisp white or sky blue shirt should be the base, at night time there is really no comparison to this look for ages 25+. Play with a few accessories to compliment who your are and your style.
Nerdy Smart type – Add glasses
Bad boy – Take jacket off roll up sleeves
Fun outgoing nice guy – Add more color to socks and pocket square

  4. Nothing beats a tailored shirt! Once you have your first, you will never go back on dress shirts! Great looks/combinations! Def would wear them! Great refined taste! haha

  5. I wasn't crazy about that knit tie but the rest looked great. The bomber would actually look better without a tie too. Sorry lol. Go with the second outfit, just swap the bomber with a dark navy sport jacket. 🙂

  6. For the first outfit, try conceal your ankles with grey or teal socks; February is still too early for the no-show look. I would also change the pocket square to linen with red outlines for subtlety.
For the second, the colour red is oversaturated. If you want to stick to the red & blue theme, I would swap out the red pocket square for a blue one in rough texture to match the shirt.
For the third, grey tie is a very safe bet but a brown one could be better. Because you already have the pastel shirt, pick a bright pink/red lapel flower and pair it with simple white linen.
For the fourth, your suggestion on the horizontal stripe socks is very on point. However, I would never pick a tie bar in unnatural colour; try silver to match the formality of your pants.
The last outfit looks really good! 🙂

  7. The last look is really clean and elegant, the trousers were very well tailored. Except the colours and stripe style of the tie reminds me of my high school tie…

  8. If you are going to do the shopping aspect, I reckon you need to then show the outfit on you at the end…..not sure about the tie and bomber combo!
